ZeroLength3

Struct ZeroLength3

Source
pub struct ZeroLength3 {
    pub node_i: Node3Id,
    pub node_j: Node3Id,
    /* private fields */
}
Expand description

ZeroLength‘s spatial counterpart: independent per-DOF materials along the six directions [ux, uy, uz, rx, ry, rz] — global by default, or the local axes of an Orientation (OpenSees’ -orient). friction — see ZeroLength’s doc comment — adds two independent (see Friction3) shear-DOF couplings on top of the independent materials.

Fields§

§node_i: Node3Id§node_j: Node3Id

Implementations§

Source§

impl ZeroLength3

Source

pub fn new(node_i: Node3Id, node_j: Node3Id) -> Self

Source

pub fn with_material(self, dof: usize, material: Material) -> Self

Source

pub fn with_orientation(self, orientation: Orientation) -> Self

Evaluate every DOF along the local axes of orientation instead of the global ones (see Orientation).

Source

pub fn with_friction(self, friction: Friction3) -> Self

See ZeroLength::with_friction’s doc comment — same preconditions, checked for both entries of friction.shear_dofs.
